Why hello there you gorgeous creatures. Welcome to my 'blog' - I guess that's what we're calling it. I basically joined this website like 3/4 years ago and well it trapped me, lord only knows why I'm still on it I don't really have an answer for you there. There's no real theme or pattern to what I post it is what is; I mostly reblog from the much better much more interesting people I follow with some stuff thrown in. It's a eclectic mix. Some things I can say you'll find here are: quotes, real stupid jokes I find humorous, clothes, scenery, burlesque, 1950s, corsets/lingerie, healthy eating/exercise and meditation (though I try to keep that on my kinda fitness blog), romance, films, travel stuff, feminist rants.. I dunno what every tickles my fancy 😎 Basic info about me: I'm a London girl born and breed I have a love hate relationship with the city. I'm saving up to go travelling in October. I'm 19. If all go's as plan I would one day like to be a costume designer I love sewing and pattern making. I'm in the middle of a long distance relationship with my boyfriend in Australia. And I dunno what else to say or if anyone's gonna ever actually read this so I'm just gonna shut up now haha feel free to ask me anything xxx

A man is not called wise because he talks and talks again; but if he is peaceful, loving and fearless then he is in truth called wise.

can we just start a movement where we go to male politicians events and we ask them sexist questions like “if you are elected who will take care of the kids” and “what designer are you wearing tonight” “do you think that your stunted and constipated male emotions will affect your decision making”

that last one tho

First of all, I’d never thought I’d have the guts to do this so please no negative comments.

I follow several wonderful fitblrs because they motivate me to want to take care of my body and nourish it properly. However, the pictures above is without doing any of that (sadly, I’ve been slacking on the exercise and nutrition on account of a pulled back muscle and just being a junk food junkie in general). But a few weeks ago, I saw a beautiful girl that posted a photo of herself in a bikini saying something along the lines of that she was going to do that everyday until she felt comfortable with herself in a bikini. I adore her for that. At 24 years old, I’ve struggled most of my life being disgusted with my body. Summer was the worst for me. That stops now.

There are many things about myself that I don’t like such as my big hips and super thick thighs. They may get smaller and more toned (when I haven’t way and work my ass off), but they will always be a part of me. I’m never going to have stick thin legs or tiny hips and I’m okay with that now. Everyone’s body’s are different and that’s what makes us unique and beautiful.

I am beautiful because I am me.

If anyone knows the girl or her URL that started the bikini photo thingy, please tag her!

Here are some wonderful and beautiful ladies that inspire me to love myself and be the best version of me I can be:
